Flying Solo may be my favorite painting I’ve ever created. Filled with vibrant color, playful shapes, and rich layers of texture, it captures a sense of joy and freedom that makes me smile every time I see it. As it came together, it kept reminding me of my sister and her free-spirited energy—bold, colorful, and completely herself. More than anything, this piece reflects the fun I had in the process, and I hope that sense of lightheartedness is felt by everyone who experiences it.
