December in Montreal is one of the more neutral pieces from my Debut Collection. This painting was inspired by a trip my husband and I took to Montreal in December. The cool, muted palette reflects the coldest weather I’d ever experienced, while the layered brushstrokes capture the mix of emotions that came with the journey. Although the trip was filled with unexpected challenges, it also brought a sense of comfort and connection, ultimately strengthening our relationship. This piece is a quiet reminder that even imperfect moments can become some of our most meaningful memories.
