Candy Store Dates gives me butterflies because I’m reminded of jars full of colorful, hard shelled candy. Fruit shaped gummies getting sugar crystals everywhere. Even the little banana candies that seem to always get left behind. But I’m not remembering this as a child. These moments are with the love of my life, strolling through the candy store and laughing because how did we just spend $60 on a bag of candy? Then going home to eat all of his bag because he always picks out better candy than me.
